LODGE LIFE
During the 2016 Winter Capstone Expedition, the RIDGE Crew ski toured into the alpine terrain high above the lodge during the day. When we returned to the lodge each day the crew had time to relax, eat, and chill together.
BACKYARD KICKER
The crew built a kicker just above the lodge and spent several evenings doing laps on the jump after the day's backcountry tour was complete. Backcountry tours into big alpine terrain followed by kicker sessions? Yea, it was the best of both worlds....
WINTER CAMPING
The crew used our last night in Canada to practice winter camping. We dug improvised shelters into the snow, which allowed us the luxury of not carrying 8-10 lb tents in our already stuffed backcountry packs.
