Julie grew up near balmy Buffalo, New York as a four-season fresh air kid. She was a two-sport and All-American athlete in college, earning a B.S. in Psychology and M.S. in Sports Administration. She made her way west to Colorado and worked for the US Olympic Committee for over five years, including the 2010 Winter Paralympics in Vancouver and the 2012 Summer Olympics in London. Her free time was spent exploring the Rockies where she honed her snowboarding and mountain biking skills and fell in love with mountain life. The last four years she’s lived in southern California with her husband and mutt, adding surfing and SUP’ing to her extended list of interests. Julie strives to inspire others to explore the great outdoors and works diligently to ensure activities are accessible for all.
