Gaelen is a patient and enthusiastic teacher who loves sharing her passion for the mountains with those around her. She understands what it takes to help people feel safe and confident when pushing their limits in the mountains. Her interest in mountain sports piqued while attending Santa Clara University in the Bay Area.

After graduation, she moved to Utah and worked for a wilderness therapy program and as an experiential educator with at-risk youth. Upon moving to Montana, she gained employment as a residential counselor at a therapeutic boarding school, where she also helped to establish a rock climbing and skiing program. Today, Gaelen spends her summers working as a climbing and mountaineering guide for KAF Adventures in Washington state.
