At RIDGE Mountain Academy we care about your grit, integrity, and passion in the mountains. We also care about your education. We believe that a strong mind is just as important as a strong body and we provide the tools and resources you need to expand your academic horizons - in the classroom and out.
RIDGE works with each student to develop an individualized academic plan. Currently, the RIDGE Education Core Curriculum provides the opportunity for student athletes to earn up to 9 college credits from the University of Montana.
Similar to a traditional ski academy, student athletes come to RIDGE for an off campus semester or GAP year experience. Many student athletes decide to enroll at RIDGE for a high school or college semester off campus. They continue to earn academic credit while training in the Rocky Mountains.
When you enroll at RIDGE, our team of academic advisors and tutors will help you decide where academics fit into your RIDGE experience.
Regardless of where you are in your academic career - high school, college, or somewhere inbetween - RIDGE Mountain Academy can help you achieve your educational goals. We will develop a customized curriculum that is specifically designed to your needs.
RIDGE Ed, the Academy's signature spin on experiential education in the Rocky Mountains, bridges the gap between traditional classroom based courses and mountain sports.
At RIDGE student athletes learn how to balance mountain sports with academics.
